Band in "Pronunciation Gaffe"

Reports emerged last week that Libero, self styled leaders in the eagerly anticipated musical revolution and intellectual heavyweights, were pronouncing their own name incorrectly.

Wogan

As Tracey told Pravda during an interview, "I heard Terry Wogan pronounce the name differently to us on his morning show, of which we're all huge fans. Thankfully after extensive research it transpired that Terry had also got it wrong. Great minds thinking alike? Yeah that's what I thought too. Even though his incorrect version was different from ours..."

The band then pulled out all the stops, creating action plans to take straw polls in Italian restaurants, and watch back to back Mafiosi films and old football matches in the hope the word may appear. Luckily a website was found which had sound, and when combined with a PC that did sound too, all became clear.

Weird

"I'm slowly getting used to the New way of saying the band name" said axeman Dan Yates, "but it still sounds a little weird, and you still catch yourself saying it wrong occasionally. Though we reckon not many people will notice...not many people cared how we pronounced it anyway, and as for the fans, not that I'm saying that they're not the most important thing to the band, indeed to any band, but that fact that we have yet to release anything will surely help convert them to the new way..."

Agreement

"Aye", said Ian and Matt

Libero "tight-lipped" about recording progress

The four-piece declined to make any comment on this. "It's going OK" said an undisclosed source not necessarily close to the band

Band In Studio Row - Police nearly involved

young hopefuls Libero have announced they are to take their business away from from Riverside Studios. "the Building work was one thing, and then there was the money row. but when teas and coffees were withdrawn It was the final straw" said the bands spokesman. The band were nearly arrested due to non payment of around ten English pounds. Which they didn't owe anyway. The band have since taken their business to Diamond Studios who not only offer modern rehearsal rooms but also cafetieres, and if you push your luck, a kennelling service...

Libero Recruit New Drummer

Having parted company with Mick Levick in the late summer of 2002, Libero report they have recruited his replacement, Ian Cawthorne. "Ian's sound." explained Matt Yates. "he's got his own kit and everything"
